My husband and I have been in the adoption process since June of 2007. In March of this year we decided to the fertility route once again this time trying donor sperm. Well, we were scheduled for our first insemination on June 5th. The day that I went in for my pre-IUI work (June 3), I got back to my desk at work and was checking our e-mail and there was an e-mail from a potential birthmom soon followed by a text message. Well, needless to say we put the insemination on hold and instead drove to Duluth to meet our birth mom. After countless dr. appt trips to Duluth and lots of time off from work. Our daughter was born on August 22nd....BUT the next day is when our worst nightmare came. The birthfather had papers served to our birthmom stopping the adoption. We were devestated and sad.

Well, on Wednesday, I was inseminated with our donor sperm. Wow, now the waiting and anticipation!! I really hope this works!!!
