As of today (11/04) and for quite some time now, it appears 2629 on has IVF available. Is there more of 'him' out there but it's in the 6 month quarantine stages? My partner and I are planning for the future and were hoping to have a full sibling for our son. We'd like to order some for storage at our doctor's office in the near future. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • Unfortunately, donor 2629 is no longer actively donating. He does not have any additional vials in quarantine either. So at this time, he only has a limited amount of IVF vials available.

However, here is some information from our website that you might find helpful for your situation:
What if the donor I want is sold out? What are my options to get more units?
You can place your name on a CLI waitlist for that donor and only if units are returned from storage (units that have never left our facility) will they be offered to those on the waitlist to buy. CLI also offers a a Donor Reactivation program for donors who have left our program, have no available specimens in storage and who have not yet met their pregnancy limits. If a donor has already met his limit he can not be reactivated. The Donor Reactivation program is available only to patients seeking additional children by the same donor. Our Donor Reactivation program will attempt to locate, re-screen and re-qualify the donor, collect and quarantine the donor specimens for six months. After the 6 month quarantine period, the donor will be re-tested. Following negative test results, specimens will be made available for insemination. CLI cannot guarantee that the requested donor will be available for participation in the Donor Reactivation program. A donor finders fee, processing fee, infectious disease testing fee and specimen storage fee is required prior to initiation of the search. The fees typically amounts to several thousand dollars.
