Any redheaded babies?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had any redheaded babies with a non-red haired donor? I am a SMC and would like my baby to look as much like me as possible. Unfortunately, the pickings are slim for good red-headed donors. If you have any info to share, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and good luck to all!

I am a redhead (recessive trait) but the only one in my family, my sisters and parents have light brown to brown hair. I opted for a donor that also had brown hair, just because they would fit right into my family.

My 3 year old and twins all have blond/light brown hair.

My friend who is also a SMC (family of brunette's) used a blond haired donor and her boy came out a redhead.

Hi,
I know I'm a bit late replying, but maybe the info can still be helpful. Our daughter has red hair and we used a donor with brown hair. I do not have red hair but do have relatives (my sister, cousins and grandmother) who have red hair, so I definitely carry the gene. I looked back through the info we have on the donor and there really is not a question that would reveal that anyone in his family had red hair. Maybe they should consider asking that.
