Why did you choose this donor?
Choosing a sperm donor is not an easy task and I'm sure everyone put some thought into who they choose. So, why did you choose donor 2681? Was there something about his profile that stood out to you?
My anwser - we choose 2681 mainly for his ethnicity. It was important to us that the donor have a similar ethnic make-up as my wife (since the egg was mine). When I read his profile he answered questions in the same manner I think my wife would have. She picked him because she liked his smile

We pick for pretty much the same reason. They didnt have an African American donor like we wanted so he was the next option.

I 2nd that...My partner and I loved his smile too! We wanted a donor with an ethnic background that was either the same as ours or similar...and 2681 was similar and we just said this is the one!
We had a gut feeling and got pregnant on our 1st try! We also liked the audio interview.
