Minnesota: Dr. Phipps at Univ of Minnesota Phys?

edited 2011 14 in Same Sex Couples
Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any experience with the University of Minnesota Physicians REs? I finally found out that Dr. William Phipps is covered by my insurance and we have four more inseminations to try before we run out of coverage. I just don't want to go to someone who is completely homophobic, but I also don't have a lot of covered options.

  • I'm not familiar with Dr. Phipps, but when we were going to start ttc for our first child way back in 2004, I contacted Outfront MN for a list of "friendly" doctors and clinics. You might want to check with them.

    Good luck!

NOpe no experiance with him. I went to Doc Wayvern in Edina. Not homophobic at all.
  • I also do not have any experience with that UofM doctor but I have used Women's Health Consultants for basic IUIs since they do not do any ultrasound monitoring but they do use Clomid if needed. Once that didn't work I went on to Center for Reproductive Medicine for monitoring and more meds opportunities. Neither of them are at all homophobic...loved them both!!
