Depends on what type of vial you are using. We do not sell vials that are below our quality standard at the time of processing. Here is a list of our specimen quality standard in Total Motile Cells/milliliter.
IUI - 10 million/vial
ICI - 18 million/vial
IVF - 5 million/vial

My counts were 21m motile with 30% motility. I've researched the motility % as much as possible, and it seems that "normal" is at 50% and that the motility percentages may be more important than the sperm counts. My first IUI did not result in a pregnancy and I'm wondering if I should look for a different donor. Financially, I will only have 4 tries. Next attempt will be in about 2 weeks, so I need to decide soon. I could use some trustworthy advice. Thanks.

M123w456: I missed getting a count on my first two IUIs but my third my count was 25million with 50% motility my doctor seemed happy with that. Said that if I had good eggs it would do the trick. Funny thing is I had 3 great follies and it was still a bfn. But with that being said my doctor did say forward motility was the main focus because having 25 million swimmers doesn't matter if they are all doing circles. Lol! Looking at you counts I would say they aren't terrible just not great. I have def. seen worse counts end up with a bfp. But I don't blame you for the concern. Maybe you could do a back to back then you would for sure have enough up there waiting. Some do an IUI then an ici at home too which could be a cheaper alternative. I'm sorry I wish I had the answer you could probably call the bank and see what donors have higher motility if your not all that picky about your donor. Gl I hope you get your bfp soon!
