ah things could be better. I was horribly sick yesterday, thowing up, that feels great on a tore open gut. I couldnt do anything but sleep and try not to puke. I dont have any milk in yet and bearly any colostrum so feeling kinda like so far I am failing at this being a mom thing.

I nurse her as long as she wants then she heads to the nursery to get dropper fed formula. Should be going home tommorow if all goes well.
  • Don't feel that way sweetie! I know it's easier said than done, but your body went through a lot and having a c-section adds that much more stress on the body. :(

The milk does take a couple of days to come in...I wanted to feed Milan right away and it was a little tough to say the least. I ended up having to pump for months and she drank breast milk from a bottle. I hope you start to feel better very soon...there is nothing like feeling exhausted, soar, emotional, and then adding puking to the mix!

Enjoy your little bundle, and hope you both get to go home soon! Congrats again, and thank you ladies for sharing your lovely daughter with us and your journey! It's all very exciting and I can't believe how fast it went!!!

I am going to upload a pic of Milan so you can see how big she is getting...well, she is somewhat of a peanut though! lol
I bet Emma is proud to be a big sis, and your son a big brother to two sisters! Awesome!

Talk to you soon and have a wonderful weekend! :)
