Hi - I am new to this forum, and not entirely sure how I feel about it, except that I am interested in what similar characteristics our children may have. I would love to see others post their experiences, and maybe even photos.
Our story in a nutshell: My partner and I decided to start a family, and we picked this donor. We were fortunate to get pregnant on the first try (IUI), and our beautiful daughter was born in August 2010 (16 months old at the time of this post). She is, of course, absolutely perfect!
She has always been tiny (5 lbs 4 oz at birth, now in 4% for weight), but is pretty strong. She has a fair complexion, hazel eyes, 1 dimple on her right cheek, and a huge smile that lights up her face. She is very easy-going, and in general, a very happy little girl.
We are hoping to get pregnant with child #2 within the next couple of months. Hopefully it won't take many tries, as we only have 3 vials left and the donor is no longer active.
I would love to hear everyone's stories, and would post a picture or two if others would as well.

Most of us parents with children by donor 2647 are now connected either on yahoo http://groups.yahoo.com/group/donor2647/ or on facebook, and we share pictures there. We'd love to have you join us
I'm a single mom, and my (perfect) daughter was born May 11, 2011. I'm hoping to become pregnant again this spring - *crosses fingers*... I have a limited number of vials also. I'm anxiously awaiting the return of my period because my clinic said I need to have two regular cycles before we begin. Funny, I've never been anxious to get my period before!! hahaha

Also, how would I connect to other 2647 parents on facebook? And, do you know what the level of privacy is in doing so?
