A confused partner
Hello everyone,
I am a 27yr mother of 2 and last July I fell in love with a transgender. We have been talking a lot about having a baby after we are married but we don't know what route to take. We want our child to look like the both of us but we don't know if his eggs are still good. If not we talked to his sister and she is willing to give us her DNA.. What would you suggest?

Hello! I would suggest discussing your plans and concerns with a ob doc to get accurate answers. If your partners eggs haven't been removed or damaged in some way, I don't see how they wouldn't be usable. Good luck and keep me posted!

If possible I would go with his eggs, however i have a feeling they might not be "any good" as you put it. Being he is trans I would wonder/think the high amount of hormones he had to take may have changed the quality of his eggs. HOwever, I dont have a clue on this aspect. Good idea to check with a doc.
