How many inseminations did you try before getting your BFP? Or how many times before changing protocols, doctors, donors, ect?

It took us four IUI cycles. It was our first try with injectables and back to back IUIs, unfortunately we also had a early miscarriage but we will be using the same protocol again in August with the same donor. Fingers crossed!

It took me 9 tries with donor sperm to get my BFP. I used 4171 six times before switching to 2931 for three attempts. I am currently 19 weeks pregnant. 4171 had a much better count than 2931, but just didn't work for me.

It took us two tries with our chosen donor. The first time was unmedicated. The second was with Femera and worked like a charm! Our DD is now almost 4!

It took me 4 IUI's & then I miscarried. I then used a low dose of clomid and IUI #5 was successful. All with 4108, we were contemplating switching donors if attempt #5 was not successful. I had my IUI done in a clinic first thing in the morning the day after getting a positive ovulation test at times #4 & 5.

In TTC #1, we had 5 unsuccessful IUI's with #1974. Then we switched to #4108 and conceived on the first try with him.

IN TTC#2, we also conceived on the first try using #4108 again - and now we have 6 vials left to spare! (Anyone interested? LOL

All IUI's were unmedicated. (Although with both conceptions, I was drinking Fertilitea to enhance my fertility factors - seemed to do the trick quite nicely!)
