Unable to conceive...what to do with vials purchased...

Hello, I recently purchased 2 vials of sperm from http://www.cryogeniclab.com/. Although we had completed many tests prior to purchasing the vials we recently found out that I can not conceive. Due to this I am looking for suggestions on where/how to sell/donate these? I am not looking for full price by any means but do not want these to go unused and would like to move on from this situation. This has been a very difficult and frustrating time as I'm sure is appreciated in this forum. Thank you for your time and assistance.

Patients who have Cryogenic Laboratories, Inc. (CLI) semen samples stored onsite with CLI are able to transfer their samples into another person’s name for use by participating in what we call a Transfer of Ownership. This allows CLI to properly track the owners of our semen samples to ensure that we are able to closely monitor the number of Family Units for each donor. This also allows us to create a letter for a second parent adoption for our patients as are commonly requested. In addition, new owners of vials will receive medical updates as their contact information is now in our system.

More information is found on our website: http://www.cryolab.com/Transferofownership.shtml

Anyone interested in participating in a transfer of ownership can call the Cryobank for additional details/discussion at 800-466-2796.
  • You should also be able to return the specimens if they didn't leave the facility. What donor # is it?

Yes, CLI also has a Vial Buy Back Program: http://www.cryolab.com/choosenow_uselater.shtml#buy_back

You may return any unused specimens that were purchased at regular prices and have never left our facility and receive half the original purchase price back.

This includes ANY specimen purchased at ANY time. There are also NO limits to the number of vials you can return for this partial refund. There are NO RESTRICTIONS regarding the status of a client's account. Please note that our Vial Buy Back program is not offered on specimens that have been transferred by the original owner.
  • I'm currently on waiting lists for 2 different donors. What is the donor number of the vials you have? :?:
