What is the actual donor sperm shipped in?
I couldn't figure out the best "subject" to place for this question but I'm curious as to what the actual donor sperm is shipped in? Not the tank since that's obvious but the actual specimen? Is it in a syringe w/ a needle or no needle? Or is it in a vial that needs to be transferred to syringe? What sort of gloves do I have to use to remove the specimen? Do I need to add anything to it (saline) to get it out of there. If I'm shipping 2 vials...are they in there separately so the 2nd one doesn't get impacted when I take the first one out? Should I inseminate 24 hours apart or is that too far in between? Lots of questions...sorry but figured there may be someone who could rattle off all the answers. Thank you in advance!!! I've done 13 doctor IUIs and 1 IVF in the past but based on minimal money and insurance changes...thought we would try an at home insemination so this is the first time seeing the tank and the vials aside from the doctor's office.

It's a tiny little vial, maybe about an inch tall. I've only done IUIs at the clinic and haven't had to remove it from the tank, so I can't speak to the rest.
Best of luck to you!
