Triplets are 2 (1962) and we have 1 more on the way (2623)!

My husband and I have a handsome son and 2 beautiful daughters (donor 1962) that were born 7/08. It took us 6 IUI's to have success, and boy did we LOL. I had a tough pregnancy...the last 6 weeks of which were spent on hospital bedrest. The triplets had a rough start in life, they were born at 31 weeks 2 days gestation, each weighed 3 lbs and spent just over a month in the NICU. Thankfully everyone is happy, healthy and doing very well!
We are expecting another boy (donor 2623) late this December!

Amazing and congratulations! I just posted our story on this thread. I have twins and am always in awe of triplet moms. Keep up the good work and have a much easier pregnancy this time around.

I was wondering because i saw you used two different donors, what made you decide to use a different donor and was that decision hard for you? thanks

When trying for our second pregnancy we had only 1 sample left from the trio's donor and he was/is no longer available. The IUI with that last sample did not work so if we wanted more children we had to pick someone else. It was not hard for us at all, both my husband and myself have half sibs that never felt like "halfs" to us they are our brothers and sisters just the same.

Your trips are adorable! :):) I too, had to resort to using another donor. But it's all good, my 3 year old daughter now has a brother & sister (twins from CLI donor) and they do look a lot like her, as I used a donor with similar features/ethic background. Congrats!!!

your triplets are beautiful! Thanks for posting it is encouraging to see what can happen for those of us trying! It reminds me that one day all this waiting will be worth it!
