Hello!
I have been keeping up with a couple of donors... will order specimens in very near future....and i froze when i saw :shock: IUI vials are currently not available on my favorite donor. Does this mean i will have to wait for 6 months until quarantine time is up or is there a chance there is less than a 6 month wait? I know I can call customer services but I will have to wait until Monday to talk to someone. I can't sleep and this could definitely be a long weekend without an answer. Please Help!

Definately call Fairfax Cryobank on Monday and ask to be added to the waitlist for IUI units for the donor you are interested in. Here is more information about our waitlists http://www.fairfaxcryobank.com/waitlistfaq.shtml. Once you are on the waitlist, client services will contact you as soon as vials have cleared quarantine. It might not take six months from now to clear more units of the donor as he may have units that have been in quarantine for several months and may be cleared soon. If you post the donor number you are interested in, I may be able to assist you further.
Hopefully you can sleep a little easier tonight.

Thank you for your quick reply! Donor 4114 is my favorite. My husband is part Romanian with B+ blood, brown hair, brown eyes. This donor is the closest match. Looking forward to your reply. Maybe I can sleep better tonight!

Unfortunately, donor 4114 does not have any IUI units in quarantine to be released and it does not appear that there will be any released in the future. He does have a very limited number of IVF units currently available. Sorry this wasn't the news you were looking for, but hopefully you will be able to find some other similar donors on our catalog with more availability.

Donor 4005 is not currently donating anymore. There is also a waitlist for any vials that may come available.
