Success and heartbreak - 2354 and 2666

The first time I used donor sperm from the Cryobank, I had instant success. I currently have a beautiful 2.5 year old son that I conceived using donor #2354. Only six months after this pregnancy, I got pregnant again using the same donor. As many of you know, there is a gamble in using IUI. I wound up pregnant with triplets. At 27 weeks, I delivered prematurely. My three sons only lived a week, and then I lost all three. I was deeply saddened, but I was hopeful to try again. After five more IUIs and two IVFs, I finally got pregnant a third time from donor #2666. I am currently expecting. Going through fertility trials is very difficult. I think I have grown stronger as a person throughout the process. I am happy to share with anyone the trials, tribulations and joys of my journey.

Penny- I'm so so sorry for the loss of your triplets, I can't imagine how difficult that must have been! Hugs! Congrats on your pregnancy!!! :P

I thought I would post an update to my story. I wound up losing a little girl from donor 2666 at 20 weeks in January 2011. Another heartbreak. However, I persevered in my attempts to have more children. On March 16, 2012 I gave birth to boy/girl twins from donor 2887. They were premature, but they are doing great today.
