If you could ask your donor anything...

If you could ask your donor anything, what would it be? Is there information that is not included in the donor profiles that you wish you could find out before selecting a donor?

I would ask their reason/motivation for wanting to be a donor. That would be interesting to hear and may have influenced my decision in choosing that donor as well.

Here are two questions we would like to know :
    1. Why did you choose not to put an adult picture in your profile?
    2. In 18 years, if your offsprings contact you what do you think your reaction will be?

I wouldn't ask anything - I'd just want to give him a hug and say thank you!!

It would be nice to know (but not from the donor) how many of their units were already sold, to give you more of a confidence despite the "No" in the Pregnancies column.

I would also like to hear why they wanted to donate, and what would they ever say if they were to meet an offspring in 18yrs. i wish it was mandatory for all donors to have lifetime photos. you do not have to buy them if you do not want to see them but to have the option is a must. i also think it should be mandatory for pregnancies to be reported! at this time it is only recommended or highly suggested how in the world are you going to control the number of offspring if you can not track pregnancies.?

I would have loved to have known if the donor thought he may ever change his mind about not being an ID donor.

I would ask three things. Have they had any psychiatric issues or is there any family history, Any addiction issues and would there be any possibility that they would give their offspring a chance to meet them when they turned 18. Some refussed any contact.
