Brutal Custody Battle/Trying another route

I have gone through a brutal custody battle for more than 10 years. My son is about to turn 18, about the graduate from high school, and has been offered a full ride scholarship to Sac State in California under their football program. My son's father was awarded custody ten years ago by a Judge that had a political agenda, that I knew nothing about until recent years. Her methodology was to put children with father's so she could increase her political contacts. Never the less, I feel like my mothering was cut short due to the custody battle and brainwashing of my son. I am looking into trying Invitro because I cant go through another custody battle. It isn't like taking someone lunch at work, when a child is removed from your custody....especially when my mother passed 3 months prior. It left a gaping hole in my heart and I have healed me and am deciding when I want to have another child to heal my mothering abilities. I am a good mother, but I need to complete this for me and my new baby, as well as, my son. How does this process work? I am seeing prices of $400 and buy one vial and get one vial half off. From what I read it seems pretty inexpensive, but what I heard is very different. What is the cost prior to actually inplanting?

That said it all various based on where you go, what sperm you buy and such. I am in MN and after insurance it costs me about 1,000 out of pocket each try. I did not take on the first try and have to skip a cycle before I can try again. It can be very emotionally trying.
I suggest trying other ways to heal than this option. I dont think it would be fair to bring a child into this world for that reason.
Your story is a lot like someone who is very close to me and so very very painful. I dont think that a day goes by that she does not think of her daughter and loss. I hope you think very hard about this and have some time to grieve about the pain and episodes with the judge and your ex husband. The relationship also has been shattered and with the person close to me and her daughter and I hope you are close to your son or can work on that for him and yourself he is an adult child now. Good luck and I am very sorry for the pain you have suffered.
