Anyone use donor 2721

I was wondering if anyone used this donor because I will be inseminated in April. I just got the last of the ICI's so we are broke and we hope that this works. I will move straight to IVF if it doesnt on first try. BTW, 33 no fertility issues, but DH has no sperm. Thanks for responses.

I also want to wish you luck! We have the same issue... I am 33, no problems myself but husband has no sperm. I feel for you...I know what we went through and how heartbreaking it is. Just to keep your spirits up-- I had an IUI with Donor #2818 last November, and it worked on the first try! I was elated and shocked all at once! We now have a precious 7 month old baby girl. Miracles do happen- stay positive.. and good luck!

Thanks for your response. Im glad everything worked out for you. My doctors seems to want to use a natural cycle, and doesnt feel that i need to use meds since I have no problems. My research says that its much easier to use injectables, rather than naturals which is what I want to do...increasee my chances for the first time. Did you go natural since you had no fertility issues? or did you use meds.

I did use meds, but at lower dosages. It just increased the amount of follicles slightly. Not anywhere near like it does for IVF, since they need to retrieve so many at once. The injectables were fine... had to have some help at first but then got the hang of it. Going with your natural cycle first time seems like it's worth a try... but I agree with you, why not increase the chances if you can. After all, when you weigh the options, the donor vials are NOT cheap, as we all know!-- So why waste one (and your money) by giving something a "try" when you could help it along a bit. Sometimes, I feel we need to be so proactive and firm with the doctors, even though they are here to help, they sometimes can't see all that is involved for a patient-- emotionally, mentally and financially. If trying meds on the first try seems a more reasonable option to you, I would discuss that possibility with your doctor before just going with what he/she is suggesting. Hope this helped a little. Keep us posted on the progress... sending baby vibes your way!!

This is to *girley* on this post as well... good luck to you and your first IVF, one of my friends just had that done and it's so much more to go through than a simple IUI. Thinking about you and sending baby thoughts to you as well! We tried for over 3 years, too. It's alot to go through. From the bottom of my heart, i truly hope you BOTH get your miracles soon! I never thought it would happen for us. Every day, I still can't believe it and I am so grateful-- stay strong.
