Mixing it up and taking a chance

I took the leap today and ordered 4 units. 2 of a donor without previous reported pregnancies (2976) and 2 with 4102. Anyone else pick one of these or looking at one of them?

I'm going to buy #2976 this week. He now has a reported pregnancy! Have you had any luck?

Not yet, but only one try so far due to timing circumstances last month. Just ordered my second sample of 2976 for later this month.

Odd question... has anyone ever done two doses in one month using two different donors. I swear I'm not an unintelligent person, but this question will sound a bit stupid - do sperm "fight"? I'd think the environment is hostile enough as is, right? Sure, you may not ever know for sure which donor is the "winner" if you end up prego, but it would add another element of interest to the process, no?

I thought about this too and the thing that came to me that stopped me from doing is the thought that you would absolutely 100% need to know who the biological "father" was and this would mean you could never be sure. So you would forever be wondering who was the donor that worked and that would be problematic for medical history issues etc.

I have no idea if this is totally offbase but this is what I came up with to stop me from doing this. I am definitely curious as to what others think of this.

Second attempt with 2976 is a no, so next month I'll be using 4102. I have two of his and am probably going to use both in one month, 24 hours apart - since it seems pretty clear my ovulation is not easy to nail down.

This month mymonthlycycles' tracker said I could ovulate from Wednesday the 18th through Sunday the 22nd. My ovulation test popped on the 17th in the afternoon and on the 18th, so I scrambled to get in there on the 19th instead of the 20th as originally 'scheduled'. (As soon as my sample arrived at the doctor's office that morning).

Somehow my period already started this past Sunday, despite it not being due until this coming Saturday. Not sure how that makes ANY sense. Anyone?
Regardless, I'm not sure what I'll do if this next 2x attempt doesn't work. The whole trigger shots and upping of possibilities for multiples scares me a little too much (as a single gal).
