I am so happy for you. So was your scare with af actually implantation bleeding or just some spotting? So glad that everything has worked out! Keep us posted! It helps to keep the rest of us that are trying stay positive that it will happen for us!

I set up a private forum yesterday but have not added any posts ... Don't want to jinx myself! When baby is born I'll add a photo of him/her and some background on myself and family, why we chose this donor, and how the birth went.

@Robin- I'm not sure if it was implanatation bleeding or just spotting. I haven't gone to my Dr yet until next Tuesday. I've just been going for blood work this week. But I will ask him and see what he thinks.

so that's pretty good right? I have my last beta this Friday so I'm hoping they're good numbers also..
our little fella is a boy, and a rowdy one at that -- at least on the inside. we're very curious about whether he'll be this active on the outside (and wear us out for sure). it's our first, and almost certainly our last, which is one of the reasons we're curious about donor siblings.
Anyway, good luck to everyone!!! Oh - for the record, over the years I've done 9 IUI's 5 invitro, one frozen embryo transfer with donor embryos from a couple I didn't know previously (first time I got pregnant ever, but miscarried a month in), and this time I did a fresh embryo transfer with my partners eggs and 4026. If I can help anyone with advice on any of the above, I'm happy to! Take care!

Go to Private Forum by Donor Number/Sibling Registry and then you have to register by giving some basic details. Fairfax then write back confirming membership. Someone asked me if I was joining any Mums and Babies groups, little do they know that I am part of a group of Mums whose babies will all share the same genetic Dad hehe. Curious to see what they all look like and whether or not they have things in common!
Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut (cuz u know there has to be a "but")... we didn't see a heartbeat. AHHHHHHHHHHH!! The dr said not to be alarmed. he seemed really calm and said everything looks great and that because I am only at 6 weeks, the heart beat may not be detected just yet. BUT TO NOT FREAK OUT! hahahaha.. ur kidding me right? You're telling an infertile not to freak out?? hahahaha..
Ok ok.. i will TRY not to freak out. I have another US In 2 weeks and he said by then our lil one will be bigger and we should definately see the heart beat.

I know it's easier said than done but try not to panic, it is still very early and very common. Same thing happened to me and I had to wait two weeks and they got a heartbeat second time around (at 7 weeks). A horrible long wait though! I tried to visualize baby as a little acorn growing into a big strong oak tree to reduce the anxiety. Good luck, and will be thinking of you! xxxx
