QUESTIONS about IUI

sxytlwsxytlw Junior Member
I've been with my partner for 8 years now. For medicated cycles, my RE started me on this plan:
CD 3/4 Bloodwork and Vaginal Ultrasound
CD3-7 Clomid 50MG
CD 12 Bloodwork and Ultrasound
CD13 HCG injection (Norvel)
CD14-15 IUI
First question I think that mentally I am fine and no side effects can anyone tell me the side effects they had? Also we got our first 2 shipments :D . I don't go back to the doctor until the 29th so its kind of hard to tell when I will be doing my first IUI ( I hate having to wait). I hope its not on April 1 (April Fools Day) Question 2, is there a certain time of the day which I should go back for the IUI some people say go on the 30th hour some say 24 hours later...Does it matter?
Is there a place on the Fairfax cryobank that tells me how good my little swimmers are other than at my clinic? After my IUI should I masterbate to have an orgasm.... so many questions....hopefully the donor will work out...lets go swimmers

Congrats on getting started. It sounds like you are following the same protacol I had other than a different trigger shot. I had no side effects from any of the meds. I had my IUIs early in the day on the morning after the trigger shot and the next day. They just have their clinic appointments early in the day. You don't need to orgasam, unless you want to. :D They are safe and in where they need to be. You can ask on the donor forum to see if anyone else has used the donor and how their Dr reported on them after thaw. Good Luck!
