Hi Everyone,
We are down to the wire in selecting our sperm donor and could really use some advice and insight on this really important decision. Does anyone have any experence/feedback with using donors 2399 or 2741?
Also, any insight on Donor 1999? Donor 1999 appears Active, but has been sold out for months.....

Hello! It's been over a year that donor 1999 has been available. We were the last couple to purchase the remaining vials. I honestly don't know if it will be available in the future or how long the process takes to them to become available. Your best bet is to call and ask. We have an 8month old and one on the way
. Good luck with everything!!

interested if you or anyone else has used donor 2741. I am on 3rd cycle, hoping 3rd times the charm.... but my doctor says each sample was low and recommended definitely switching if not pregnant this time. She wanted me to switch by the second low sample, but i had already bought several and due to vacation would not have had enough time to research other donors.

Well, no luck on the 3rd try with donor 2741. We ARE switching this time. Better luck to anyone else who is using this donor.

Hello all - and first may I say best of luck to all -
I Have used donor 2741 and I am delighted - I am thinking about having another with only this donor, but he is not active anymore. please send me a email if you have any samples of donor 2741.
thank you, and good luck to all -
We used donor 2741 and got pregnant with our first IVF cycle and now are the proud mom's of boy/girl twins! I wish I would have known you were looking for more vials, I sold three back in November:( Maybe he will donate again in the near future! Babies are beautiful and so unbelievably happy:) Good luck to you!

I wish 1999 was still here. He was our first choice and sold out before we actually started. Just FYI he hasn't had anything in almost 2 years. I would say he is done.

Hi I am trying for my second child with donor 2741. I was wondering what your doc meant by saying that the samples were low. Was this for IUI or IVF? This is my first time trying IUI.
Here is the Fairfax Cryobank Specimen Quality Standard site. Please read through this susannec and make sure your doctor follows up immediately with Fairfax Cryobank if there is any concern. It also lists the Total Motile Cell per IUI/ICI/IVF vials so you can compare with your vial counts from your physician. Hope that helps! -

Hello Caulfields,
Families of 1999 siblings have a private FaceBook group that we would like to invite you to join. Let me know if you are interested and I'll try to figure out how to get info to you so we can work it out. We have 11 families in our group! -
