    Hello!!!

My partner and I chose Donor 2870. I got pregnant on our 3rd IUI. Our baby boy will be arriving on or around September 7th!!! We are very excited about using this donor. It took us a while to finally pick which donor we wanted to use. However, we were thinking about changing donors after 2 IUIs because the first two vials we used had a low sperm count, which Fairfax immediately reimbursed us for since the count was below their standard. So we decided to give this donor one more try. We used the third vial, which had a high sperm count, and got pregnant!! We also purchased extra vials for future use. I would love to hear how its going with others that use this donor!!!

    GOOD LUCK!!

Good afternoon and hello to everyone. I would like to hear more regarding your experience with #2870. I have tried IUI using 2870 twice so far with no luck. The vials had about 18 million in count each time, I think this is pretty good. Would you all agree?

Not sure why it did not work but plan to try again, 1st IUI produced 2 eggs, 2nd produced 4...will try again shortly.

Again, I would love to hear more about your experience, count per vial, how the stimulation went and status as of right now.

RobinET: I would like to hear from you also if possible. Glad to hear you have been successful with a baby due in September. Please share your experience.

    Thank you.

Hellllllooooo all. Just wanted to say hello and let everyone know that we all have different stories but all are Very strong individuals going through this emotional journey. So kudos to all of us. Has anyone ordered 2870 lifetime photos. I did get his child photo. Just wondering if there are several in order or just one or two??
  • I am thinking of 2870 too. Does anyone have picture of babies with this donor? Any recommendations? I am seeing a donor who is al least half black otherwise and perhaps the other half Asian or Latino.

I ordered the lifetime photos and there are 14 images, all which are either adorable to very attractive (IMO). I just did my first IUI today with 2870 and I'm super hopeful. His count was 24 million, which my doctor claimed is good for donor sperm. Got my fingers crossed :)

Greetings and warm welcomes from NC:

I'm so excited to see more people inquiring about Donor 2870. Even though its been a while since the last post here... We spent a long time searching for our perfect donor but when we found him we know there was no need to look any further. Not to mention how handsome he is... I think that was a plus as well.... LOL... When we were ready to purchase our 3 vials, we couldn't because he was waitlisted and my heart sank to my toes. But in February, there was room on the waitlist, I called and added our names and here we are...

My partner and I got pregnant on our 1st IUI using his donor sperm. Our baby is due to be born in February 2013. We don't know if we're having a boy or a girl yet; however, we'd love to hear everyone's stories.

    Congratulations & Good Luck!!!

I see he's off of the waiting list again. I think this donor is perfect! I recently had my 4th IUI and finally I have success. I'm due in late February if it sticks! Good Luck to all who use this donor.

I used this donor for IUI and on my fourth try, with borderline acceptable sperm count, I conceived. Apparently he had at least one good swimmer! I gave birth to a baby girl in November 2012. People stop me everywhere I go to tell me what a beautiful baby she is. I am part hispanic. Go for it!
