Kaiser

Does anyone have any experience with using Kaiser Permanente (DMV area) as their insurance carrier? I can't seem to get a straight answer regarding what is covered and what isn't. :?

Hi! I'm not sure if this will help but my wife and I have recently started the IUI process with Kaiser and our coverage for all services is 50%. (Kaiser is through my wife's work )That includes all office visits and our iui procedure. IUI is usually 1000 per session but we are paying 500 per session ( still ouch!) The blood tests were cheaper at 10.00 per session. I had 15 tubes drawn. Unfortunately we are not covered at all for IVF; We are in the S.F. Bay Area. When I inquired they ( my RE) said that it depends on the type of coverage you have through your work ( or what you have chosen as your health care plan). Your RE can pull that up during an appt. I hope this helps by giving you a guide of what the costs could be. Best of luck and lots of baby dust!
