it is so great to have you all around and share the magic of all this.
Let's see if I remember correctly:
Clomid, I used for the first time (of course with my FE doctor suggestion) 50mg day 2-6. I had 5 follicles at day 9 of my cycle. My estradiol was already in its 500.
On day 13 I did again an ultrasound (still ++ on the clear blue monitor, so not 3+ yet), of the 5, 2 follicles were really nice at about 23mm, and the other 3 regressed. Estradiol was 1072, so very high. At day 14 (Sunday) my clear blue monitor showed me the 3+ and the egg, so I couldn't do anything because it was Sunday, so I went in on Monday, super high estrogens, prog.2.6, LH on its way down, 2 follicles just released. Doctor did the insemination and all was good.
At 7dpo I felt cramping for 2 days, no spotting, then nothing. Progesterone 34. At 10 dpo I had weir cramps, huge and painful boobs (different form other times) and some food had such an awful taste. I went home from work and I tested with the super nice new early-pregnancy 10UI strip and a faint line came up.
I didn't believe it, but my friend could see it too. The day after the first response was really positive (11dpo) and blood test revealed HCG at 29 and progesterone >60
I have been cramping like crazy, no nausea, just painful breast and on and off cramping. Lots of clear discharge too. I went to the FE doctor today and progesterone i still >60 and I will know HCG tomorrow. No signs of cysts, and too early to see anything.
So...today is week 4, day 1.
Lovely to share our adventures with you all. I am very healthy, but remember, we are born with a certain number of eggs and they become old with us, so sometimes it is poor quality, this is why Clomid is very good whan no problems are revealed to increase the chance of better eggs.
Best of luck to you all...I have tried 4 times on total, the first 3 were natural cycles (all just perfect, but not good eggs because they are 38 years old eggs), but if I knew, I would have gone straight to Clomid from the first time.

those are very cheap and new one, they detect REALLY low HCG (10IU). I had a positive 5 days before my period and they are really cheap.
I recommend those, don't spend lots of money on those really expensive ones, they work all the same way!
Roberta
Keep us updated!
6/24: 11dpo, HCG 29, progesterone >60
6/27: 14dpo, HCG 254, progesterone >60
Ultrasound and blood test scheduled this coming Friday!
Hope you all are doing well, hang in there, the right time will come, but remember, just picture yourself with the baby in your arms, relax, and he/she will come to you! Only positivity here!
Roberta
Moe!
thank you so much! This is the FE center I go, it is part of the Pennsylvania hospital in Philly:

My doctor will leave at the end of this week, but she is very happy for me. On Friday I will repeat blood test and because my numbers are doubling every 23 hours most likely we will see something at the ultrasound (usually it is done when HCG is around 1,000) to see if it is all ok and how many I have (I had 2 eggs release).
Those doctors are amazing. I have been here because 2 other friends of mine went here and they had amazing positive results. Both of them have now toddlers running around their house!
I have found them very opened, organized and really not pushing anything. In fact I did 3 natural cycles when they suggested me to try Clomid after the second.
My insurance covers everything, so I had only to by the ICI sperms, and they will wash for you and do count and motility prior to insemination.
They are very caring, they are checking me about 2 times a week!
Hope all is well,
Roby
Hi Roberta!
Thanks for sharing the info. WOW insurance covers your visits?! That's awesome! RMA of Philly is right across from Jefferson so it's walking distance for me plus they have 3 other locations. So far I'm not crazy about the front desk (West Philly edge) staff but everyone else has been fine...
Wonder if there are TWO sticky beans
Good luck! Keep us updated!
Moe
I work as a clinical pathologist at the UPenn vet school, so we have an amazing insurance, they pay for everything, so I pay only a copay of $30 when there is an ultrasound or an IUI involved, otherwise for blood tests, nothing. I had to buy only the sperm vials (well 560$ per vial, I got 5 in total and used 4).
I will let everybody know about Friday, I can't believe my HCG was 254 on day 14, usually they expect around 50-80, but everybody is different, and sure I can have easily tins as I have released (with natural LH surge) 2 eggs with around 23mm follicle.
More later...
Roberta
6/24: 11dpo, HCG 29, progesterone >60
6/27: 14 dpo, HCG 254, progesterone >60
1/7: 18 dpo, HCG 1983, progesterone >60
Doctor sees for now one 4mm gestational sac, on Monday 7/11 I will repeat bloods and have a better ultrasound as I will be 6 weeks 1 day pregnant. I am taking a vacation on CA and I feel very well. No signs for now and the cramping went all away!
More news on Monday, stay in touch you all,
Roberta
Good luck at Mondays appt!
Moe
