FOR SOME REASON, THE ORIGINAL POSTING WAS REMOVED......

In this economy?? Yikes! I just would like to encourage you to further your education and secure your financial future for you and your child. Why on earth would you add another mouth to feed and you haven't completed your schooling?!? I'm 41 and have a graduate degree and many of my friends with advanced degrees are struggling to find work. An associates degree is not something that you can live off of in these economic times. There's so much to compete with in the job market and an associates degree is only a start. In my opinion you are too young to bring in another child until you can be relatively secure with being able to provide for your current child. Why not take 5-6 more years to get established, and then re-think this "want" not need. Enjoy the blessing that you already have and create a savings/college fund. It's not enough to just "want" a sibling close in age....step back and look at the full picture. There's so much more to it. And you have youth on your side. Many of us on these forums made an active choice to get ourselves grounded and prepared (as much as possible) for this and we are now in the 35+ age group. We persued our goals, travelled, got the careers, got the houses/cars, and held out hope for Mr. Right. He's been a no-show and now we've made that decision to move forward with a level of security and confidence that only exprience and age can afford with the passage of time. I just wanted to share this with you and let you know that you obviously can choose your own path but be smart about it.

    Good luck!
