Good Morning!!! Wondering if anyboby can share there experience on being on a wait list. I have read the Q&A but just wanted to hear some insight from someone that has been waiting. Also how do you get more information on the sprem donor beside what you see on the donor search and the items you can pay for? I am very new to this and feel like I am not fulling understanding everything when I read other posts. Thanks for your help!!

rc,
I have never been on a waitlist so I can't help you there but I can tell you the info you can get from fairfax is pretty all encompassing. If you want more inof than what is free than I suggest doing the unlimited search. You pay like 150 dollars for unlimited access for three months. You get to download baby pics, medical history, profiles and much more. It is definately worth the $$. I'm not sure you can get any more info than what you get with the unlimited access as they have thought about almost everything. The only think you do not get is the personality tests and the lifetime photos is they are available. Good luck in this process!

I have been on the waitlist for one donor....I had called into Fairfax asking about availability...so they put me on the Waitlist. Fortunately, they called me within the week stating that more vials were released....unfortunately, I had purchased another donor a few days earlier....because I was trying to get the "Special". I'm not sure if all are that easy but it was easy for me.

I, too, would welcome any insight people can give me about avg. waitlist times. I don't have many eggs left, so time is precious
Thank you in advance! -
When I was on the waitlist it took a few months. It really depends on why there is a list. If the list is for a donor that is no longer available it could take longer to have any luck. If its for a donor that just waiting to be released it shouldnt be as long.
I know in my case I bought when I could just incase the one vial I had of my other donor didnt work. Some lucky person on that wait list will get a chance as im about to sell mine back to the bank. -
When I was on the waitlist for 4187 Fairfax called me in about 10 days. It was just in time for my next cycle. But I think it was quick because he was new and samples just needed to be released from quarentine. On this forum I've heard the wait time can be much longer.
Good Luck!
