Donor 2478/ Donor Reactivation

Anyone used donor 2478? I have a daughter by this donor and would like to connect with others that have used this donor. Also, has anyone ever went through the proces of trying to get a donor reactivated? If so, please tell me about your experience.

Simply put. I don't think you can get a specific donor reactivated. When they are inactive status, there are no more samples for that particular donor.

You can try, however it will only work if the donor agrees and then you have to pay all costs related to collection, testing, storeing and so on. It can get really expensive.

Hello I have two boys by donor#2478 and currently trying for baby #3 first son was born in 2006 and second in 2008 I have on specimen left and I am also on waiting list.

Just wanted to say that after having a second son to 2478 that my family is complete. i will be returning the 4 unused IVFs in storage. Hopefully this helps others on the waiting list complete their family as well. well wishes to all.
