Does anyone know how soon before pregnancy you can start taking prenatal vitamins? I want to try IUI sometime next september and was thinking about taking prenatal vitamins. Does anyone know of a brand that they like or ones that aren't too big to swallow? Thanks!

You can take them any time as they are just a multivitamin with folic acid and few other extras. I take the gummy ones, but I can't remember what brand they are.

You can start three months before you begin trying to get pregnant, if possible. The egg starts maturing about three months before it’s released, and it’s critical that the proper nutrients are present during the earliest stages.
