First IUI and Husband stressing out a lot!

So tomorrow is our first IUI round. I am on Clomid (50mg) and we are super nervous. :?
My question for all of you is how did your hubby cope? Mine is all for the procedure, and is excited about the prospect of having a baby, but this morning he got upset when I had my LH surge and he said "Great, tomorrow you are going to have some strange dude's stuff in you".
I offered to cancel this round and let him have some more time, but he said he does not need more time, he knows this is what we want.
Any advice for us?

Well today was a little tough emotionally, but by the end of the day my husband went from sad and stressed to excited, patting my tummy telling my eggs to hold tight!
That is a massive relief, and now we wait for 2 weeks!

Glad to hear that he came around. It is such a stressful process and i feel for the husbands dealing with this too. Good luck in your first tww and i wish you lots of beginners luck!
