in Couples with Fertility Issues
I have a benefit that I am going to on Saturday, and all of my friends will be there. They all know me very well, but don't know about the IUI, we chose not to talk about any of it with anyone except family.
My questions is this, how do you dodge the alcohol question. I would normally have a glass of red wine at events like this, and it will be quite obvious I am not drinking... any advice? Thanks!

    Get a cranberry juice and ask the bartender to put in in a glass that makes it look like a cranberry and vodka. I did that many times. Nobody has ever questioned me. I do not recommend telling people because then they think it is their right to constantly ask If your pregnant. A tough question to awneser when your not.

    Thanks for the tip! I know, I don't want anyone to ask, and even if I was pregnant, I don't want anyone to know till I am 12 weeks so I don't have to worry so much...

    I always said that I was on antibiotics and couldn't have alcohol, but the cranberry is a great idea!
