Taxes

So I have been keeping all my receipts and keeping track of my milage hoping to be able to use it all for a tax deduction. Has anyone done these medical expenses as a tax deduction?? I know it has to be a certain percent of my income to be able to do it at all I think maybe 7%? But does sperm count? and if so Fairfax didnt send me a receipt for that can I just use my credit card statement? Any input about this from someone who has done this would be greatly appreciated!!!

i get a printout from all my dr's at the end of the year and my pharmacy for all my co-pays...i save receipts for things like tylenol, humidifiers and all medical expenses not covered by insurance...best thing to do is submit it all to your accountant, briefly explain some of the expenses and let them fig it out...as far as the percentage goes, depends on if you have any other deductions etc...good luck

we use a CPA and we were able to take of the sperm costs IF there is a DX of infertility. Check with your doctor to make sure you have that. My dr gave me unexplained infertility as a DX.
