Well I have been reflecting a lot on my fertility journey after church this morning. It has officially been 14 months since we started trying. Of course many of those month where while we thought my husband had sperm and of course we all know he doesn't! I have spent too many hours of those 14 months feeling sorry for myself or scared at our future. I think we all have?!? This week for me is about being thankful for what I do have not upset at what i don't have. So today I am thankful for the health of myself my family & friends! That is what I choose to think about this week not the fact that I am not with child YET!

I encourage you all to concentrate on what your thankful for this year too! I hope you all have an amazing thanksgiving with those that mean the most to you. And remember your time is just around the corner!

    Charlotte,
What a powerful positive message. What a difference a year makes! Last year at this time, I was recovering from surgery and fearful that I had waited too long and would be unable to conceive. The surgery to remove my left ovary was a blessing in disguise because it made me start his journey to motherhood in ernest. Now a year later I will be 8 weeks pregnant on thanksgiving! How thankful I am for all of you women who have helped to keep me positive and have listened when I have needed to complain. I am thankful for all my family and friends that have been so supportive of me throughout this past year. I am thankful for my job and the insurance that comes with it! ;)

I pray for a blessed year for all of you!

I just want to thank you all for this post.. It's positive and it gives hope to us all that our day is coming and for thoses who's day have arrived.. CONGRATS!! :-)

I am thankful for my Doctor and the support of friends/family and most of all my partner. I am 34 and I wanted to start down this journey before I turned 35 years old because of what " you hear ".. I see that there are women getting pregnant in their 40's, with one ovary, and a list of conditions. At the end of the day, it's a blessing and there is only so much we can do. It will happen when it's time and when it happens it's the right time.

I am thankful that we found out our issues, thankful that we have a new donor if this donor's motile sperm count is too low again. I am thankful for the "refund process" !! .. I am THANKFUL for a plan.. and setting goals. I feel like we can all be successful as long as we keep our spirits high, stay healthy, destress, and GIVE THANKS!!

Wishing everyone success and beautiful healthy babies. Much Love :D

    MIkko,

Thank you for revisiting this post. I was really excited to see it especially yesterday. I got really great news from my doctor and even though i worried myself to death i had a great appointment yesterday.

i am thankful to have a doctor that listens to my wants and needs and has hope for me. I am thankful to finally have a new plan so that i am not longer doing the same thing over and over with no results. I am thankful to you ladies for always giving me hope and encouragement to move forward and be constantly reminded that we each have a time when this WILL happen. I am thankful that my baseline ultrasound showed no cysts and that i am able to move forward.

i am mostly thankful to be doing my 9th cycle at a time of year where you can't help to to have joy in your heart & hope for your future. I believe that good things come to those who wait and i will not give up until i hold my precious baby in my arms.

Here is to a lot of CHRISTMAS MIRACLES!
