We are doing our 4th IUI next month and looking into new donors. I am liking 4401, 4200, and 4160 I am pretty sure they are brand new so I am guessing no ones had success yet but is anyone considering them??

No we wont be using him =( we found out that with this new doc we have if we dont use one of the donors he has stored at his office that we have a 300 "transfer fee" just to get the sperm in his door so we decided to pick from what he had there...we picked donor 2689 from FairFax's sister company Cryogenic (he has donors from FairFax and Cryogenic stored at his office) hoping our 4th try is the charm! Waiting on my period thinking maybe day 1 will be Jan 11th.

Is that common for doctors to have sperm stored at their office?

I store 4 vials at a time at my re to reduce shipping costs. We live in TX and the shipping from Fairfax is crazy high. A reg OBGYN may not store vials, but fertility docs should.

That's cool. I'm planning to go to a fertility center located in the hospital so maybe they will have the same option?

dreamsabc123,
I am not sure if docs normally do that... my first doc didnt have storage at all...I know some docs have places were you can store but my new doc buys sperm from Fairfax and Cryogenic and then keeps it stored for his clients to pick from....he only had like 10 donors to choose from so it wasnt easy but we did find one we liked and he has 4 vials stored there so we should be good -
Good luck!!
