Progesterone

So anyone else on here using the progesterone suppositories?
I just went and picked my script up and it is the first time I am using them. 2 thing... 1: I have a $250 deductible on prescriptions which just re-started for the new year, and it was $234!! 2: The pharmacist acted like I was crazy. He said "This makes no sense, did your Dr. tell you to use these vaginally? I have never heard of that, that is weird... are you sure?!"
Anyone else have a reaction like that??
Thanks!

I will be using Endometrin suppositories 3/day. I was originally prescribed PIO but requested the suppositories. The nurse explained that its kind of a "new" approach and many clinics now use either or both for some cycles. She also said that studies have shown the suppositories were just as good as PIO and sometimes better because it gets absorbed where it needs to be, faster. It is quite expensive though.

I've used Endometrin suppositories twice a day for the last two cycles, and for the 8 weeks that I was pregnant since my progesterone levels were lower than the doctor wanted to see.

    My pharmacist had zero comments.
