Hi,
I'd like to know if some of the donors drop off the program before they have any pregnancies reported,
and if you turn down a donor after X vials of no conceived pregnancies.

It is possible that donors complete donating before any pregnancies are reported. Vials are kept in quarantine for at least 6 months.

We urge all our clients to report their pregnancies and live births. Fairfax Cryobank typically receives pregnancy/live birth information on only 20-30% of the outcomes from the use of their donor samples. You can easily see how this can lead to inaccurate information being reported when it comes to number of offspring/donor. We are continually working to improve pregnancy statistics.
