Question about Timing

Hi all!
My first IUI attempt failed.
I'm curious about the typical timing of an IUI cycle with donor sperm, since I realize frozen sperm doesn't live as long as fresh. Those of you who have had success (or not), would you be willing to share your timing with me.
This past cycle I had the IUI 24 hours after the trigger.
Thank you!

I did 4 iui's and the last was successful. I am currently 21 weeks and 6 days pregnant with a healthy little boy. I too did my iui's 24 hours after the trigger. I kept feeling that we were missing things so the last iui I asked that we do a back to back. That time was successful! I also only have one ovary and only had one follicle! It only takes one. I do know others that have gotten pregnant doing the iui 24 hours after the trigger. The docs seem to have a different protocol. If you feel the timing was off talk to your doc about it. Some women do in 36 hours after the trigger. It just depends on what their doc likes to do but both protocols work.
Lots of babay dust! Remeber the average is 4-6 tries before you are successful. Keep the faith.

Thanks, Robin! I appreciate you sharing. Congrats on your healthy baby boy!! I've read good things about back to back cycles. My RE doesn't typically do them, but I might try asking about it. do you recall the timing for that (e.g. 24 hrs then 36 hrs?)
Thank you again for sharing your story. I know I need to be patient! -
I asked to do the back to back cycle and my doc said it would be a great idea if I was able to get two follies. Well I only ever got one (my fsh is elevated as well) I told the doc I wanted to go ahead with the back to back and he was totally supportive. It was my money after all!;-)
I did the trigger on a Sunday morning at 8am and did the first iui 24 hours later on Monday around 8 and the second iui on Tuesday at 8 am so 48 Hours after the trigger.
Glad to help! I know the waiting is the hardest. It seemed like I had been trying forever. Although it was only my 4th iui I had been trying for 8 months. My body only allowed me to do an iui every other month. That was due to cysts in the beginning and later due to high fsh and only producing a good follie every other month. It seems though that the pregnancy isflying by! I am now halfway there and every day I get closer to meeting my little boy! It will happen for you too!
Lots of baby dust!

Thanks, Robin. This info is helpful! Boy, you are patient! Every other month would be frustrating. I had to wait six months after my son was born (he passed away from kidney disease), and that felt like forever! Being patient is hard.
Again, thank you for your help! I really appreciate it. -
On both my successful IUI's the trigger was given 30 hours before the IUI, also my follies were between 18 and 20mm. Good luck!

Thank you!!

Although I have not had a successful IUI yet, my clinic has always done the procedure 36 hours after trigger. Hope this helps!

I am 5w 3 days right now, and my IUI was done 36 hrs post trigger.

For IUI #1, I was triggered 36 hours before the procedure and was successful but had an early miscarriage at 4 weeks. IUI #2 was 24 hours before but resulted in a BFN... I just had IUI #3 this morning and also triggered 24 hours beforehand, so just need to get through this TWW to see what the results will be! For all 3 IUIs, I've had at least 3 good follicles- all over 20mm.
