We went in for our 8 week u/s yesterday and found that Baby B had no heartbeat. He/She measured 8w1d, so obviously it had just happened. We are heartbroken, and scared for Baby A. Our RE said that it was probably something genetic, and that it will have no impact on Baby A, but of course now I am scared. Originally we had planned on telling all our family/friends at 10 weeks, but we will wait to 12 now.
Does anyone have any experience with losing one twin, but the other making it full term?

My brother and his wife had this similar situation, but they didn't know it until my nephew was born and they saw the "remains" in the afterbirth. They didn't know she was pregnant (small blessing) with twins at the beginning and must have lost it early on as well. I've heard the term referred to as a phantom pregnancy.
Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way for a safe and healthy pregnancy.
Hugs XOXO
Baby a will be wonderful!!
I did watch a girl on you tube that this happened to. She has a healthy happy 3 week old baby. It might help you to watch her old you tube channel

I am feeling much better. I officially move on to an OB, and my first appointment with her is next week! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, I could not have gotten through this week without them.
I am so happy for you! So glad to hear your baby is doing so well.
Congrats and continued health to you and your baby during your pregnancy!
