IUI vs ICI at doctors office

sporty5sporty5 Junior Member Junior Member
Hi everyone!! Well I finally had my first IUI at the doctor. How exciting and nervous at the same time. I am just not sure if I picked the right type of viles to use. After speaking with my doctor she said she perfered for me to order ICI viles so they can wash them there at her office. Which I guess essential become IUI after they are washed. Does anyone know if its better to buy the IUI rather than ICI and having the doctor wash them after thaw. I know ICI have a high count since they haven't been washed yet but the count seemed so low after they washed it I was wondering if you get a better count in IUI since its washed before freezing. Who knows I might just be trying to figure out why the count was so low. Although they reminded me that it just takes one. I go back tomorrow for my second insemination so I am hoping the count will be better. Just though I would see if anyone out there has had success using ICI and having there doctors wash it at there office.

Thanks for hearing me out! Crossing fingers and toes.
