So I was seen by Maternal Fetal Medicine and they support my decission to do this!!! Yay!!! They think because of my heart complication they will have me go a whole 9 months and deliver without a c section, but no pushing allowed and lots of epidermals to help with the pain. They said the body will naturally push the head of the baby out and then they will use some instrument to pull the baby out once they see its head. I think it might be a long labor if no pushing is allowed! yikes!! They said a c section could be risky because of the blood loss, but if they had to do a c section they could. They will want to see me every month and then every two weeks. They will also put together a team of high risk pregnancy doctors to help me through this and there will be a plan for when I deliver the baby and everyone will know about it and what to do. I'm so excited that they think its safe enough for me to do this though! I'm so excited! I'm not going to start trying until january I think.
