So I am 9 days post iui and noticing what seems to be every little thing. It's hard not to get our hopes up. I have to admit at first I was thinking of course this is going to work, we did everything they told us to do: dye test, iui, in office not at home, femara etc. + I already have an older child from before.
Lately though I cant explain it... I have started to doubt it. I know it's too early to take a home test, but I did anyway and of course got the neg. trying to keep my head up knowing that it could still be positive but my gut says better luck next month.
Any of you have any recommendations on how to avoid dwelling? or how soon after your IUIs at home tests were done?

The TWW is really hard....do your best to distract yourself!! We have a 17 month old little girl, and I got my BFP 10 days post IUI, but I've heard of other people who tested negative right up until the end of the TWW. I guess it all depends on when implantation occurs! Hope you get good news soon! Good luck!

I was convinced it didnt work and on the 14th day i took a home pregancy test and it showed positive.

I was convinced my IUI wasn't going to stick because the first day I saw a faint 'positive' line, I also started bleeding. But apparently I'm just someone who bleeds/spots a lot in the first trimester, because I'm now almost 15 weeks. But because I was sure I was getting my period on the same bathroom trip that showed a positive, it took me ages to believe it!
Towards the end of my TWW someone here gave me a really good idea about getting a new project started to pass the time, for me that was a trip to Michael's for some crafting stuff. If we'd had to do another TWW we were going to get a new video game because my wife and I can both get into gaming sometimes.
Hope you get good news!
