Hi all, this is my first post. I've been reading a bunch of them but haven't had much to contribute. I am now in the week building up to ovulation. I finished my round of clomed yesterday and waiting for my surge so my first insemination can take place. Any suggestions?
I'm 39.5 yo, single and hopelessly in love with having a baby!

    Just breathe. It can be a roller coaster of a ride. I know it's tough, but really try not to obsess during your TWW. Also, consider your plans if it doesn't work. How many rounds of IUI are you willing to try before moving onto IVF. How many IVF will you try. I found that I was much calmer once I had a plan laid out.

    I bought 8 vials of iui. Not going to do IVF, or at least I'm not planning in it now. I went through the first insemination which turned out to be much easier than I expected! Now I'm in TWW and about to lose my marbles! Is it the stress that has turned me into a lunatic?

    Its the hormones that drive you crazy along with the wait! The clomid always gave me a roller coaster of emotions starting with frustration! Good luck with your first try! Try to keep yourself occupied during the tww. I always tried to think and imagine that I was pregnant each tww. I think positive thinking goes a long way. It would make the bfn hard but it was what worked for me. Find your own distraction and sending you lots of baby dust! This forum was a nice distraction during my tww.
