Im 31, single and ready to be a mom- frankly i have been ready for a looooooong time 
I just purchased my first vials today from donor 2634- and i m excited and nervous!! i was looking through the forum yesterday and was happy to see a few posts confirming babies from my selected donor. So that in itself makes me pretty happy! if anyone has any advice or has also used 2634 i would love to hear from you. While i have been researching and planning to use a donor for a couple years now i dont know anyone personally that has used this option. My family and friends are very supportive but its also hard for them to understand why i would not wait a few more years in hopes of finding prince charming. I keep telling them, he and his white horse have gotten lost in some bermuda triangle sort of thing and im going for it solo. Thanks for reading !!!

So happy to see you are moving forward! I know you have been waiting a long time for this. Honestly wish i would have done this sooner becuase then maybe i could think about having another! At my age i would need to be trying right now and honestly that would be crazy! I love being a mom and Maksim is the best thing to happen to me! Can't wait to hear of your success!

I am scheduled to do my first IUI in January 2013 and I cannot wait. I am also excited and nervous.

**yanla_til- We re most definitely in the same boat! the way i look at it is like this, my prince charming would be the guy that will love me and anything that comes along with me, including a child that is not his. so if he decides to finally find me then that'll be great and hopefully we can just add more babies to the family lol I was planning on waiting until next year around this time to start the process, figuring i could continue to save up more money, but i just decided that there is never going to be enough cash and its possible this process will take a while and i dont want to miss my window of opportunity to get pregnant. Still hoping to hit the lotto sometime in the next year!!! Good luck in Jan! i will be checking the boards often to see how your progressing! Fingers crossed that next Oct we will both be picking out halloween costumes for our new little babies!
**dreamsabc123- I agree with you 100% and i am very happy with my choice to take action on my own. Good luck on your 1st attempt-i truly hope it sticks the 1st time for all of us:)

*****As for me, I should hopefully be having my 1st IUI in the 3rd or 4th week of this month! While i do still feel very anxious, i also get many moments where this calm comes over me, maybe its because its all finally happening. For 3 years i have been talking about it and thinking about it and dreaming about it and now i am actually just a few short weeks away from my 1st attempt:) From reading the posts on this forum i know theres about 6-7 babies born from my donor, praying i can add to those happy stories soon
I chose donor 2984. I have not had any luck finding anyone on here who has had a baby with this donor. However, on a donor sibling registry I found a couple with twins.
Definitely keep us posted. I am excited for you!!
My partner and I have a 3 1/2 year old by this donor and are currently in the whole cycle try for number 2. Hopefully we will have some good news soon. Were you able to achieve pregnancy with the donor?
