I'd say everyone is different and the sperm count , eggs, some get it 1st time took me 4 try's but they are still testing me even thought the test said bfp, they don't think it's viable. Hope for the best it will work out for you

I did 11 iui's. I got pregnant on my 4th with no meds but lost it at 7 weeks. Did 7 more with drugs to no effect. Got pregnant on my 2nd IVF.

My Re told me that the average number of tries is 4-6 times before you may get preganat. It is the same average for when trying with a partner. There is a 25% chance of it working each month..... I know that sounds crazy but it is the same chance when doing it at home. The meds made the timing more accurate but there is more involved than just timing. The egg has to be in good condition, an egg needs to be in the follicle (sometimes there is not one there, that is only found out when doing IVF) and the sperm need to be good too. I know it seems like the chance should be higher since you are timing everything but its not all scientific, there are other things at work. Don't be discouraged becasue it did not work the first time. It worked for me on the 4th try, after 8 months(I had other issues that were found after we startedthe process. Positive thoughts really do go a long way!

Keep those thoughts positive and sending you baby dust.
