Timing of ordering for at home ICI?

Hello everyone! This is my first time here and I'm very thankful that F.C. has made a forum for same-sex families as I have found them very hard to find! My partner and I have done two cycles of IUI at our fertility specialists office one in July and one in August, unfortunately neither worked so we have decided to do one round of ICI at home since we have never had the chance to try "on our own". I've very fearful that I am going to surge on the weekend, but unfortunately my cycle lengths vary so I'm afraid to order it too early and then not surge. Does anyone have any recommendations? Also any feedback from those who have been successful performing ICI at home would be greatly welcomed!

If your fertility specialist has a clinic that is open on the weekends you could purchase the vials, have them shipped to the clinic and merely store them there picking them up when needed.
