More questions from my 1st IUI.. I had my IUI on Monday at about 4 pm.. Yesterday I noticed some slight cramping on my right side.. Near where I cramp during ovulation. It's gotten more persistent today and its more like a tugging or tight feeling cramp..for instance .. It seems to hurt more if I'm walking up the stairs .. Could this be implantation pain or just wishful thinking on my part? I'm trying to not get my hopes up too high but this has been a very stressful week so we could use a bit of good news around here.. Less than 24 hrs after my appt Monday I got a phone call telling me my 11 yr old goddaughter has leukemia
she and I are very close and its heart wrenching to see her going through this but she's very excited about the prospect of a baby .. So I'm hoping more than before that this was a successful try and in 9 months ill be able to celebrate a birth and remission of her cancer

Cramping can be one of the first symptoms of pregnancy. Likely it is not implantation cramping since that implantation usually takes place 6 to 10 days past ovulation. Your only 5 days post IUI, not sure DPO. But stay positive because the cramping could be just an early symptom for you.

Could be implantation. It is usually 6-10 days, but can be as early as 5 days. FX'd for you!
