Hi, Ladies.
So, I had my embryo transfer today, and now I am starting my 2 WW. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to survive the 2 ww without driving yourself nuts? Thank you.

Update: I mostly survived my 2 ww by working, but this weekend curiosity got the better of me; so, I researched about my procedure. I found out that Novarell can take 10 - 14 days to metabolize and it is the Novarell not the progesterone or estrogen that will give false positives. I had my trigger shot on 11/17 and my first beta was today (12/3). I started testing on Saturday and I saw a faint BFP. I kept testing every day up until today and the line kept getting darker. Today, I had my first beta test and it is official! I am pregnant! My levels are at 324! Just hang in there ladies. Baby dust to all. -
Congrats on your BFP!!! That's very exciting!!! And yes, only the trigger shots which are the hCG hormone (ie Novarell and Ovidril) can produce false positives depending on how fast it gets metabolized by the body. Now as for the "pregnancy" symptoms it's typically the progesterone and often the trigger shot that will mimic all those symptoms. That's why it's so important to keep yourself busy during the TWW because EVERYTHING will seem like an early pregnancy symptom. Honestly, I never had any symptoms that I could easily distinguish from being on the fertility meds for such a long time. And to this day, I've never had nausea or vomiting....Everyone is different.
Again, congratulations and here's to a healthy and happy pregnancy!
