Hi ladies,
Just had my transfer yesterday!!! =) Was wondering how long you all took off from work...or actually followed "bedrest"??! (as I'm laying on my couch with my laptop!) Thanks!

    Hi Maria,

Both of my previous transfers were on a Thursday so I did bedrest the rest of that day plus Friday and Saturday and was mobile on Sunday. Doc had me on the schedule where I could only be on my feet for 15 minutes once every hour. The first time I stayed in bed and my BFF waited on me hand and foot the whole time but I felt so isolated in bed and thought I was going to go crazy! Second time since I knew what to expect I didn't have my BFF come but what I did was cook meals ahead of time so I only had to warm them up (breakfast casserole, soups, chili, etc) and I set my dishes out for each meal. It sounds nuts but I knew I only had 15 minutes so I wanted to maximize it and it actually worked good having everything already set. I alternated between the couch and the bed the second time and that worked much better! I read alot on my kindle and watched TV and was content!

How many did you end up transferring? Good luck to you!

Congrats on moving to the next phase of waiting! How many did you decided to transfer? I was on bedrest the day of the transfer only (short bathroom trips only) Then for the next few days at work, I limited my lifting and tried to take it easy. That was challenging because my job is typically very physical. There are lots of variations to the bedrest rule depending on the doctors' protocol. The important part is getting that sticky bean to stay put! Good luck!
