first time & so nervous

So I always knew I wanted to be a mother and now my wife and I are taking the steps to make that happen.
I am working with NYU fertility to get pregnant. We bought 4 vials of donor 4011(glad we did when we did because he is no longer available). I have had blood test (my dr says I have perfect eggs), had an hsg (am assuming everything was solid since I never had a post meeting), a psych visit about using donor sperm & had my first iui this past Saturday.
We started this journey in November, I feel like its moving really fast. Is this normal?
The practitioner who did the iui was less than fabulous in personality so I left feeling apprehensive.
Just hoping to find some other like minded individuals who are going on this journey.
Any insight or advice is welcomed.

Hang in there! My wife just underwent her third IUI (natural cycle), and it can be nerve-wracking. Our daughter was conceived on the first attempt (different donor, but fresh sperm), and we were hoping to be that lucky again. Not a realistic expectation on our part. From my point of view, it's all about knowing your cycle really well and timing those inseminations with great precision...and a bit of luck, of course. I think it helps if your practitioner is positive and encouraging...is it a group practice, and can you try to schedule with someone else for the inseminations? Best of luck to you!

I got pregnant on my first IUI. It all happens very fast and before you know it you have a baby! My IUI was November 1, 2011 and my son was born on August 2, 2012. I NEVER expected it to happen on the first try as I was 35 at the time. They gave me a 13% chance per try. Hang in there! It will happen when it happens and it's worth every second!

Hi, I know this is an old thread, but I was just wondering if you had any luck with donor 4011?

My husband and I conceived twins using sperm from donor 4011. Curious, if anyone else has had a pregnancy using this donor.
