I haven't seen many recent posts on this donor and wondered if anyone else had conceived by donor 2754. I am 19 weeks pregnant by 2754 and am noticing that he has a trend of boys. Anyone having a girl by this donor?

    I think it has more to do with the timing of the IUI than the donor. Male sperm swim faster so the closer you time it to ovulation the more likely it'll be a boy. And of course since washed sperm live for a shorter time than regular sperm, you have to time it just right! In natural conception sperm can live a few days, and female sperm swim slower, so they can hang around and fertilize the egg after the male sperm have already swum too far!

    Hi ChristyB and niks2004, I am a SMBC and considering using donor 2754 too. I am planning on having IUI next week. Just wondering if you two did IVF or IUI, how many times did it take for a BFP...could you share what procedure you followed to get pregnant? This will be my 4th IUI but the first one with this donor...

    Hi marthur,
    I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant with 2754 - he's been a great donor for me. It took awhile for my body to cooperate, but when i finally did get to try, I got pregnant on the 3rd IUI attempt, used pre-washed IUI vials. His numbers were consistently good - I think I saw other 2754 mommies have posted the same, altho I can't remember now who.

    As for me, I just found out yesterday - i'm having a GIRL!! i'm so excited! I think that brings the known count now on the forum to 3 boys, and (with my little) 2 girls. :):)

    As far as his sperm counts... i never did get a copy - they just showed me every time. i want to say it was always around 15 million - i remember feeling relieved that it was well above the guarantee.

    Hi! We had a girl born 2/16/14 using donor 2754.
    Just saw that there are no more vials left and are super disappointed because we wanted to use for #2. We have some in storage, but worry we don't have enough. Any tips for getting more vials? Thanks in advance!
